Rockbare McLaren Vale Chardonnay 2012

Stylish and elegant, the vibrant fruit drenches the taste buds with a wave of

intense pineapple, peaches and nectarine. The mid palate is textural with a

bounty of creamy, mealy complexity derived from extended lees stirring and is

complimented by a slight buttery note from partial MLF. The balanced acid

compliments the rich fruit and provides a support throughout the palate with

crisp, clean tangerine and lemon freshness.

Macon Blanc Villages 2010 (Burgundy)

Macon Blanc Villages should be consumed chilled and rather young (within 5 years of harvest).
Dry and easy to drink, it is a lively, charming quite fruity wine with a floral scent and a hint of lemon. The Macon Blanc Villages is an ideal accompaniment to a range of foods including hors d’oeuvres, fried or grilled fish, shellfish, goats milk cheese and poultry.

Saint Veran 2009 AC

Chablis AC Louis Jadot (Burgundy)

The Louis Jadot Chablis has a very nice golden yellow colour.    It is a lipid, bright and fresh wine, with taste and bouquet that develops relatively quickly.

It should be served chilled, and can be served with oysters, charcuterie and fried fish.   It also goes very well with goats cheese..

Cape Mentelle Chardonnay 2009

The fruit for this wine is sourced from three sites, with most coming from the McHenry Vineyard, which has a sheltered north-easterly aspect and deep gravel loam soils sloping down to the Margaret River. This low-yielding vineyard provides quality fruit that forms the backbone of the blend.

As befits its regional provenance and fully mature vines, always from the top drawer. The usual winemaking tricks, with barrel fermentation and nine months on lees, result in a potent, complex and powerful wine. A delightful streak of minerally acidity holds the generous nectarine and melon fruit together, the positive oak in balance.

Pouilly Fuisse Louis Jadot 2008

Emerald gold tones. Maison Louis Jadot produces a Pouilly-Fuisse of emerald gold tones, reflecting a wine of finesse and distinction.
The palate is harmonious, fresh and full of fl avours ranging from hazelnut and roasted almonds to grapefruit and lemon.
Best served lightly chilled with shellfish, white meats in cream sauce
and poultry. Enjoy whilst youthful and fresh, however this wine does develop a beautifully complex bouquet with 5-8 years in bottle.
