The “whole foie gras “indicates the preparations containing a whole foie gras or pieces of lobes.  Preserved or semi-preserved for the gourmets it is the best because the most onctuous and tasty of the foie gras just as it is.

The preserved whole foie gras, like the wines it has the reputation to better with the time. Generally, in glass jar, it is appertised and has a 4 years shelf life at the ambient air. It is recommended to put it in the refrigerator before consumption.
